Our Team


Mr. Madhu Menon

Madhu Menon is an educator and communicator specialising in the fields of development and environment. He produces educational and motivational video programmes for a number of developmental agencies. He had worked with prestigious institutions like National Institute of Design (NID), Educational Media Research Centre (EMRC) and Developmental & Educational Communication Unit of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He is Managing Trustee of Ahmedabad Nature Lovers’ Association (ANALA) and directs the prestigious educational programme Anubhav.

Madhu has been recognized by the United Nations’ Universal Peace Foundation as their Ambassador for Peace. He was also awarded by CMS Vatavaran, New Delhi for his environmental concerns and endeavours in 2011 at National Institute of Design. He was honoured as part of the Best Audience Award in the 2nd Waga Brothers’ International Nature Film Festival - 2002 held in Poland for the film “Natural Heritage of Gujarat”. He holds a Masters degree in Developmental Communication, Post Graduate Programme in Environment & Ecology and Bachelors degree in Science.

Mr. Chandresh Lodhiya

Chandresh Lodhiya joined the environment education movement as a 9th standard student participant and was instrumental in developing a hobby of trekking and birdwatching in to a sustainable business equation. After a short stint in Nigeria, he has returned to the movement and now is the Managing Director of ANALA OUTDOORS. His special interests are in the field of Herpetology, the scientific study of Reptiles & Amphibians and Ornithology, the scientific study of Birds.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a certificate in Ornithology.

He has the privilege of being the first person to catch two snakes beyond their geographical range. Montane Trinket Snake from Mt. Abu in 2009 and Diard’s Worm Snake from Dalhousie in 2010. Both these snakes were recorded for the first time in Rajasthan & Himachal Pradesh respectively.

Mr. Imtiyaz Gafoorjiwala

Imtiyaz Gafoorjiwala also started camping activities as a high school student in 1984 and contributed significantly towards creating a financially viable business activity out of a leisure hobby. Imtiyaz looks after all the spears of management including planning and operations of Anubhav. He is a commerce graduate with proficiency in managing Finance. He is one of the founder Trustees of Ahmedabad Nature Lovers’ Association (ANALA).

Mr Dhaval Patel

Dhaval Patel is Managing Trustee of Vidyanagar Nature Club, one of the active Associates of Ahmedabad Nature Lovers’ Association (ANALA) from Anand. Dhaval has been associated with Anala right from the beginning and as an associate takes care of all the coordination work for Anubhav in and around Anand District. Dhaval is a well known naturalist and conservation activist. His efforts for creating awareness on environment issues of Anand have been appreciated by many institutions and public in general. He is the present Honorary Wildlife Warden, appointed by the Wildlife Board of Gujarat. Dhaval is one of the resource persons for conducting the Anubhav camps for different classes and looks after Anubhav programme in Anandalay and Vrajbhoomi International School.

Mr. Gaurav Patel

Gaurav Patel’s interest in adventure brought him as a camper in to the fold of Anala Family years back. Since last 17 years, he has been taking care of all the adventure activities of Anala. His vast experience in the mountains of Aravali, Himalaya and Satpura has been utilized by Anala for conducting various activities in the Anubhav programme.

Mr Gunjan Buch

Gunjan Buch joined Anala as a camper in 2004 and that was a great beginning. He served Anala as Group Leader after his graduation in science from St. Xavier’s College. At present Gunjan coordinates all the activities of Anala  as a representative in the capital city of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. He also coordinates Anala’s “Save the house sparrow” campaign and conduct a number of Anubhav camps. He has completed his Masters in Arts and communication from CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

Mr Nirav Amin

Nirav Amin has been coordinating Nature Camps of Anala since last 15 years. His has a special interest in observing birds and animals and he utilizes his time in outdoors for improving his photographic skills. Nirav is the Administrator of Anubhav programme and is in constant touch with the school administration for the smooth  scheduling and implementation of Anubhav.

Ms Ami Bhatt

Ami Bhatt started working with Anala as a volunteer after her school days. Her camping experience as a student participant in different camps came in handy for the work at Anala O. Ami coordinates and manages all administrative work and keep herself ready to be fit-in in any of the Anubhav programme as a Group Leader.

Arshad Khan

Arshad Khan is a specialist in group games and has been associated with Anala since last ten years. His experience with "Play for Peace", an international organisation working with children of conflict and natural calamities has come handy for him for the enhancement of the experiential learning processes in the Anubhav camps.
